Board of Public Works celebrates Jewish American Heritage Month

Jewish American Heritage Month Honoring the Jewish American employees of Public Works Wednesday May 26th, 2021

May is Jewish American Heritage Month, since a Presidential proclamation in 2006. On Wednesday May 26th, for the first time ever, the Board of Public Works celebrated Jewish American Heritage Month by honoring employees from each Bureau and the Board offices of Jewish American heritage. Employees were thanked for their contributions to the City, as the rich history and indelible mark of Jewish Americans on the Department was highlighted. If you missed it, you can listen here.
