Career Fair with city logos banner.

The City of Los Angeles has hosted three career fairs this year. In case you missed any fairs, on Thursday, November 2nd, is your chance to attend the last career fair of 2023. The Department of Public Works is partnering with the Personnel Department (yet again) to bring the public another citywide career fair. Kick off the holiday season by treating yourself to the possibility of a new career with the City of Los Angeles. The possibilities are endless. Attendees can find themselves working for Los Angeles World Airports, Recreation & Parks, Animal Services, Bureau of Engineering, Bureau of Street Services, Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), LA Sanitation & Environment (LASAN), and many others by the end of the event.

Interested parties will have the opportunity to learn more about the position for which they are interested. Computers will be available for on-site applicants. During the career fair, individuals can speak with department staff about the role for which they are applying for and ask any questions about the hiring process. The event is filled with insightful information, from how to apply online to civil service details.

Vacant positions offer something for everyone, from those individuals who enjoy working outdoors to indoor positions. Full-time and part-time positions are available, along with entry-level options for individuals looking to get a start.
