Ben and Victory Storm Water Infrastructure Project

What:
Council District 2, LA Sanitation and the Environment (LASAN) and the LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will host a groundbreaking for the Ben and Victory Storm Water Infrastructure Project on February 27th, 2020 at 2:30 pm on Victory Blvd.

This project will construct catch basins alongside the gutter to capture storm water runoff. These catch basins will separate sediment and pollutants before draining to dry wells. The drywells infiltrate storm water into the ground about 40-feet deep and replenish the groundwater aquifer. Rain gardens in the parkway help slow, filter, and infiltrate storm water runoff.
