LA Sanitation & Environment cordially invites you to an important meeting regarding the City of Los Angeles’ "Straws-on-Request" ordinance. This ordinance (No. 186028) stipulates that all food or beverage facilities located within the City provide disposable plastic straws only upon request. The ordinance becomes effective for all food or beverage facilities (regardless of size) in the City of Los Angeles beginning October 1, 2019.
