Office of Community Beautification Releases RFQ for Beautification Services

The Board of Public Works, Office of Community Beautification (OCB) has released a Request for Qualification (RFQ) seeking qualified contractors to perform public right-of-way beautification services. This is the agency’s first time establishing one or more Pre-Qualified On-Call Consultants List(s) for these services. Statement of Qualifications are due on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 4 p.m. PST.

OCB is the primary agency tasked with the management and coordination of community beautification projects throughout the City of Los Angeles, with an emphasis in community outreach and partnership. The agency is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform a variety of community beautification services in the public right-of-way within the City of Los Angeles including:

  • Litter and Weed Abatement/Clean-Up Services
  • Tree Planting Services
  • Tree Establishment Care Services
  • Operation of Citywide Youth Employment Program
  • Various as needed projects such as Median Repairs/Redesign, Irrigation Fixture/Installation, Landscape/Planting, Sidewalk Steam Cleaning, etc.
