Do you know where flood risks exist?
Do you know what you could do to protect your home and community from flooding, and that you could obtain a 15% discount in your flood insurance premium?

Every five years the City of Los Angeles updates its Flooplain Management Plan. The Draft 2020 Plan outlines measures to protect property and save lives, as well how to obtain a discount on flood insurance, is now open for public review. The City wants to hear from local stakeholders! There will be a virtual public meeting on Tuesday June 2nd from 6-7:30 PM. An extended public comment period runs from Tuesday, May 19 through Tuesday, June 9, 2020. During the public comment period, members of the public are encouraged to review the Draft Plan by watching a video presentation at PublicInput.com/L8556 and submitting questions/comments directly on this webpage via the Comment Box.
